Ruby Briggs-Wilson has already made her mark as one of Australia’s most exciting young sport stackers. The youngest in the Briggs-Wilson family, she is the second youngest member of the Australian Lightning Team at just 8 years old.
Ruby began stacking in October 2022 after being inspired by her older brother Theo. Only a month later, she made her tournament debut at the National Championships, where she won all of her divisional events and broke every 6U Female Australian Record. Her natural ability and composure at such a young age immediately set her apart as a rising star.
After more than a year of dedication and training, Ruby’s progress was rewarded at the Australian National Sport Stacking Championships 2023, where she was officially offered a permanent spot on the Australian Lightning team. This achievement made her the youngest stacker in Lightning history, a remarkable milestone for both her and her family.
Ruby's most remarkable achievement came at the 2024 World Sport Stacking Championships, where she delivered a flawless performance to dominate her division. She swept all three events, the 3-3-3, 3-6-3, and Cycle, earning the title of 8U Female Overall Divisional World Champion. Her clean sweep not only highlighted her precision and composure but also showcased her incredible talent and competitiveness on the world stage at such a young age.
